Intro

Currently based at Inria Rennes, I'm working on ambiant sound recognition. I'm interested about artificial intelligence in general and conviced that it can be done ethically and while respecting privacy. I'm very curious and like to discuss and debate anything.

Work

Currently starting an entrepreneurship project. I'm exploring the market to find problems where recognizing automatically ambiant sound would be very helpful. Some examples are urban sound pollution, predictive maintenance or following migratory phenomena.

I started entrepreneurship because I'm driven by some values I wish to respect: privacy, ethics and usefulness (I admit, this is very subjective). Doing an AI which respect privacy is possible. There is indeed a bit more effort to make, but isn't it beneficial ?

I like the application where we could detect thanks to sound the early sign of the loss of autonomy and help to reassure family and caregivers through a monitoring device. For more info: https://www.sonaide.fr/

About

I love hiking (and waterfalls !!), cycling, climbing. Travelling, discover new places and cultures and meet new people are very valuable to me to improve myself. I like sport in general: practising, watching or going to games. I love music, I'm listening to many style of music, and love the random in my playlists which creates a journey from classical music to hardrock and rap passing by electro, rock or pop in 10 songs. I play a bit of guitar.

Baking is my other hobby. I like deserts in general, but in baking I particularly like the process and trying to understand to be able to improvise my own recipes. What I like even more is sharing the desert with other people. As an extroverted person, I love spending time with my friends and in my opinion, there is nothing better than a good "apéro" with friends.

"En forme et de bonne humeur" is my catch phrase (litteral translation: in shape and in good mood).
